Aisha Hinds, an American actress best recognized for her roles on the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated on TV in shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she began her career with an acting role in 2003. Her first recognition came from her performance as Anna in 2005's film Assault on Precinct 13. It was, however, her performance as Fannie Lou (a women's activist for the rights of women) on the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind's performance as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season. Hind completed filming recently in the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to be released in mid-2019.
