Big Time Rush
Big Time Rush is an American boy group
that is specialized in pop music. The group was formed in 2009. The group is
composed of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow and also Logan Henderson and
Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first contract with Nick Records in 2009
before transferring to Columbia Records. They appeared on Nickelodeon's
television series, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009, to July
25, 2013. The pilot episode included "Big Time Rush" The group's
initial promotional single. The group has released three studio albums: BTR in
2010, Elevate in 2011, and 24/Seven in 2013. The band in 2014 was on a hiatus
which lasted until 2021. They resumed live performances in the studio, and then
came out with "Call It Like It Sees It". Nickelodeon has signed Big
Time Rush to a record deal in 2009 simultaneously with the TV show Big Time
Rush. Nickelodeon was then joined by Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to
produce the series and release music that was original to the series. For the show,
their first single, "Big Time Rush" was released on November 29 on
the 29th of November. The announcement was made by Nickelodeon in November
2009, the series premiered for the first time in the US. The single was then
released internationally. It was featured in an introduction to the series for
one hour and serves as the opening song of the show. There were promotional
singles released by the series, which included "City is Ours" (with
Big Time Rush) and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush performed
"Famous" by Play. The track was released to iTunes on June 29 the
29th of June, 2010. Another track, "Halfway There", was released to
iTunes on April 27, 2010 following its premiere in the series. They soon made
it their first charting track on the Billboard Hot 100. It was ranked at 93
thanks to digital sales. In order to promote their debut album, Big Time Rush
released "Till I Forget About You" on September 21st 2010. The album,
titled BTR and launched on the 11th of October, 2010. The album was released at
number three on the Billboard 200. It sold the album at 67,000 copies in its
first week.
