Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28, 1977) is an American actor who is known for her role as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as her voice and motion capture for the character Tess in Naughty Dog's video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer and a member the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. She holds completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching's acting debut was her appearance in Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to be a part of guest shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. From March through November 2007 she was the regular character as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. Her other credits in theater include the Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching also played guest parts on shows such as CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands, Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. She also appeared as an episode regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching played the catcher role for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap of the character Tess. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was finally shown in the trailer for the story that was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching will play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
