Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed a flair for athletics early on discovering her talent for sprinting during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Only 10 weeks after her first tryout she came 2nd in the 200 meters during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. The first Olympic medal was won at the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007, she won the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked among the top three athletes at her particular events.
